Our 1-day basic first aid course has been designed to cover all the core principles of First Aid. It is delivered through a mix of multi-media information and practical hands-on instruction. Participants will come away with a basic medical understanding of the human anatomy, along with practical life-saving skills. The Basic 1 day First Aid qualification attained will allow candidates to operate within the workplace as a designated First Aider.
This course is delivered by professional firefighters and paramedics with many years of experience in front line emergency services. We set a high standard and the instructors are passionate about the training they deliver which guarantees student interaction and participation resulting in an enhanced learning outcome in this very popular course

Duration of course is 1 day.
The assessment for the course will be split between theory examinations and practical skills demonstrations or OSCEs. The theory element is assessed using a multiple choice examination (MCQ); the practical element is assessed using skills sheets and scenario based practical assessments
On successful completion of this course Workplace Fire & Safety Training will issue Certificates to each student which will be valid for 2 years.
